Two Tamworth gilt weaners

Hi there downsizers. We have just had two litters of Tamworth piglets (14 in all) and have two weaners that need a new home. We are based in Bala, North Wales and keep our sows in a free range envioronment. The weeners will be ready for collection in the next week or so, they will be eight weeks old by then.

If you have any questions or want to chat about keeping Tamworths then give us a mail via the Downsizer personal mail system.

Oink......Oink....

I can vouch for Mark's pigs: our big girl was one of his, and the piglets are now 4 weeks old: growing like weeds!

And the one we ate was yummy. (The one from Makr, not a piglet...)

Oops: double post.

By the way, how are you, Mark & Polly?

Just went down check on the pigs having given them a bit of hay to investigate.... Looks like it makes a pretty comfortable bed!

Thanks for the vouch on our pigs Natasha we are all doing fine been too busy as usual but still having fun keeping the pigs. Just had a fresh batch of bacon and hams back from Maynards Farm: really good stuff I can just feel the pounds going on. Marinated Tamworth tender loin cooked on the barbeque for dinner tonight. Marinade of mustard, brown sugar, olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce and garlic. Mmmmmm.... Tastes too good to be true.

Heh, heh, heh. Your pigs tessellate! How snug do they look?

Some sort of Escher pigs! Laughing

Are they gilts or boars?
