use for washing machine drumI have this feeling I've read somewhere that you can use an old drum for something - in my mind a smoker, but perhaps that's wishful thinking.We have a semi dead machine which will be freecycled or dumped unless I can come up with a good use for it. Any ideas? Andrea. |

I have two I use a planters, one from a washer and one from a dryer  Have grown runner beans in the dryer one for a few years now

I've seen them used here for roasting chestnuts.... but of course how useful that is will depend on if you have a ready supply of the aforementioned chestnuts |

Well we sometimes collect chestnuts, but not enough to justify a roaster that size  .
That's an interesting site Marigold - but still no smoker  - I want a smoker - feet stamping....
