Used sloes any ideas? We have just bottled some of last years sloe gin.
Any ideas what to do with a ton of sloes that have been soaked in gin for other a year?
I know I can do ice cream, but I cant eat that, so any other ideas?

Slumpy/slider. Put them into scrumpy or cider for a while.

Could you do some sort of pie, mixed with apples and a liqueur perhaps?
You could try filo to cut out a little of the pastry fat?

I read somewhere about using them to put inside a duck as it was roasting.
Haven't done it yet, but it does sound like a good idea.

I picked up the nearest book and it says either eat them as they are, destone and serve with icecream or fold into melted chocolate as petits fours.

Two years ago I did crabapple and sloe jelly, didn't squeeze the jellybag, sieved its contents and made apple and sloe butter- and yes you can still get the hint of gin
