Valentines day special!Just to show off a little I've put myself into a competition on instructables. It's not sustainable or ethical just quite cool in my humble opinion!
You can find it on here: http://www.instructables.com/id/EIMFOHPWRZEXCFHWVP?ALLSTEPS
And if like it feel free to leave me a comment (it's a great site btw!)

I especially like the little rant about US spellings

Fun! Just a small constructive comment, in the waterproofing bit youdon't actually spell out to coat it with hot glue. You can infer this from the picture, but maybe a short statement would be good to make that clear? Also, what is a 'throwie without magnet'? I know what an LED is, but if I was looking for the ingredients for this I might be a bit stuck at that point.

Throwies are LED, battery and magnet which are thrown against metal objects in and around towns. If used in the hundreds they can make an impressive light show that lasts a couple of weeks, or, alternatively if arranged properly can spell out signs etc. We don't see them in this country because the raw materials (LEDs and batteries) are so expensive. To make a throwie costs about £1.50, so not so great over here! = )
Most people on that site know what one is, but I apologise for not explaining fully! it's a good comment.
As for the coating, I agree - I did put a little more down in the comments but may revise if I get a minute = )
had 1935 views since I posted it last week... I've got my fingers crossed on it making at least the top 10 if not twenty = )

I won I did = ) Soapy beating love heart took one of the top ten places for valentines day (it was only judged this weekend!)
It was judged by judges, not by hits or page views though 5,000 people visited the page during the month it was up! So I hope a few of those were downsizers!

Congratulations!
Maybe we should have a Winning Downsizers page? Stacy's hat, your beating hearts, what else?
