VealVegans and Vegetarians look away now or accept that to many, meat is very very very tasty....I continue.,,,
I used to consume veal on a regular basis and lived through all the hooo-hah in the 80s about it. True, some veal was excessively intensive but many small farms produced excellent ethical veal. My background is Italian. I love dairy products. I don't want British male calves transported to southern Europe or elsewhere by lorries because (a) emissions (b) long, cramped journeys. So is there anything to be done about it? And I watched Gordon Ramsey's (F) Word so ethical veal is topical.
