Veggie Valentine's night at the quarry café

Following on from the Feb 14th thread, here's what's going on at the Quarry Café in Machynlleth or those of you who live in the area.

Starter

Mixture of olives, canapes and dips

Main Courses

Marinated Portabello Mushroom Stacks - (could be made vegan)
Portabello mushrooms, halloumi cheese, red onion and squash, layered and roasted in Italian style marinade, served on linguini with homemade pesto

Teryaki Hazlenut Tofu Stir Fry (Vegan)
Marinated hazelnut tofu “steaks” with stir fried glazed seasonal vegetables, served on Japanese noodles

Spinach, Roasted Red Onion and Feta Parcels
All wrapped in filo pastry and roasted in the oven, served with roasted yellow and red pepper sauces, purple sprouting broccoli, and garlic, rosemary roast potatoes

Chocolate Cherry kirsch Sponge Hearts (vegan)
Served with chocolate sauce

Rhubarb Cream Brulée

Cheese Board with Crusty Bread

7pm - 10.30pm (last orders 9pm)
£15 per head. Bring your own booze

This night is not exclusive to couples. It’s for people who love each other.

Booking is essential.

N.B. Telling us what choices you’ve made for mains and dessert, a couple of days before, would be extremely helpful!

No idea on both counts - I've only sat outside Very Happy

It's tiny inside.

It has always been too cold for sitting outside when I've been.
The food is good though.
