Can't really see the stem in enough detail but no, I don't think so. You're looking for a stem thats dark on at the bottom and velvety.

I agree with cab. Also the cap doesn't look "sticky"... Sulphur tuft? Did you get a spore print?

Hard to say without a good look at the gills, but brick cap would certainly be my first guess. Doesn't look like a sulfur tuft, neither yellow enough or dark enough under the gills.

Defo. not sulphur. I can't eat it anyway, there where loads. Had a good pick today, still lots of Winter Chanterelle and hedgehogs about.

There must be some around here, its the New Forest for f**cks sake. I must be looking in the wrong places. Sometimes I need to open my mind a bit. I've got my spots, there bloody good, I always know I will find things there. What I need is to go on a hunt for new spots again and new mushrooms.
