Wanted - Oxford Sandy and Black weanersI have just moved to Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire having bred pigs on my previous smallholding.
Does anyone know of anyone who has any Oxford Sandy and Black weaners for sale (at least one gilt) anywhere near this area?
Any help is gratefully received

I struggled to find some recently. Just acquired two, however, from a batch of 14 or so, from just outside Ross on Wye. Not especially cloise, but good stock, from organic small holding. Would you like details?

Well it could prove useful, and if nothing else they may have details for someone slightly more local.
Thank you

Speak to either John, or Niki. he can give you directions, but they're her pigs.
£40 a pop, about 11 weeks old now, if they have any left.
When I said Ross, I meant Hay.

Brilliant, thank you very much, may actually be able to purchase from them if they have stock available.
They even have Dexter cattle, that we're also looking out for.
Thanks a lot for your input

If they arent in, there are some in Cilcennen, ceredigion. She used to do a lot of showing and help found the wales and border society. She also has one of the rarer lines Iris i think its called.
Her name is Sabrina Johnson 01570 470 310. She is under JDK on the BPA website. She has reduced her herd size quite a bit (due to age and mobility) so not sure if there will be much available.
We had a meat weaner off her, she said she rarely registers them unless they are perfect, so getting a pedigree registered pigmight be hard as she has high standards.
Just looking on the British pigs website there seems to be a breeder right next door to you PMD is his herd prefix.

They lie about the Dexter. They ate them, but they do have Welsh Black.

Hi everyone and thank you once again.
Just to let you all know, that as long as everything goes to plan, I have managed to settle my stocking issues.
I should have three gilts and a small herd of Dexters to bring home before too long.
Thank you all once again for your time
One day I hope to return the favour
