Wanted small piece of sheepskinDoes anyone one have a small piece of sheepskin, maybe an offcut or something?
It only needs to be about the size of a dinner plate & colour does not matter!
I have had a spinal problem for the last 3/4 years & sleep on one side, because of this I have now developed a pressure sore on my ear of all places & its very painful 
I've tried various pillows but nothing has helped, a nurse told me to try a piece of sheepskin as it will have an uneven pressure rather than an even one like a pillow so possibly will help prevent it keep coming back

I don't have a piece of sheepskin I'm afraid - but my father was very immobile during his latter months and a sheepskin to sit on helped his pressure sores. So fingers crossed it will help you.

On the treatment of pressure areas, the best advice is Mr El Masry's 'you may put anything you like on a pressure area except that patient' It won't go away, unless you stay off it, but sheepskin might help prevent it coming back. There are more modern materials available now, but I suspect they would be more trouble than they are worth for an ear. Poor you, sounds like a real nuisance.
