Wanted. Chickens.Apparently, I am in need of three or four hens for eggs.
Who's got birds that'll lay very soon available pretty soon?
South Wales would be great.

You might need to budget on giving them extra lighting.
If I was wanting good winter layers without lights I would want them to be POL for the first week of Aug. After that without extra lights you risk them not starting till spring or performing badly.

By very soon, I meant laying tomorrow morning. I'm after fully functioning chickens, given the choice.

Stumbling Goat has three very nice young hens, laying reliably and houses fit for a king and all the kit - advert in here somewhere or pm him!

I started down that route, but I was presented with a fait accomplis. A hen house has been organised! I have the electric poultry netting, charger, feeders and drinkers, a coop, a run, nest boxes, even a candling lamp, heater lamp and a growing chicks on cage thingie. Just no chickens.
And Rob, no. Hell has yet to freeze.

Nothing grand. Simply 3/4 chickens that'll lay a few eggs for us. Really, it's because the kids want them. Next door have around 20 chickens and give us more eggs than we can use already.
