I thought I used quite a bit of water, with 2 adults, 2 small kids, running the washing machine a lot and a dishwasher every 2 days, but we use just over half the average quantity of water.

What are people using it all for?

Apparently we use less than half the average. I wonder about the figures though. You'd have to have the tap on pretty damn hard to use 6l/minute brushing your teeth if you leave it running.

Particularly with our water pressure.

Apparently we use way less than average. I wonder who these figures are based on; we do plenty of washing up by hand, but we rarely have to change the bowl water because we don't let it build up till theres a big pile.
