Works for me.
I'd change the fonts, the background colour and move the links to the side, they don't sit well as there are more pics than links

Might be nice to link back to the site you are asking for help from?
The home page seems a little plain/blank/boring.
More pics and more pics.

And you've left off a link to downsizer.

It needs a bit of va va voom.
I think you need the site name on the header at the top of the page, so people remember where they are.
Think about changing the size of the site (width), because it looks quite messy in a large window. Put it in a div and set the width in the css to do that.
I would def. change the background colour to something less pastel, and add more content, be it text or images. Certainly add more images around the site, rather than just at the top of the page.
You need to change font-text to font-family in your css too That's why the font is appearing as the default rather than arial.

I actually like the background colour... (but then green is my fave colour so I'm a bit biased )
Definitely need more info there, to fill it out a bit. Also agree on changing the fonts.
Nice pics though
Looking good so far, just needs more put into it.
Good luck!

I will link you , and thank you again, seems to be proving popular.
Thanks fee, i was thinking arial was looking a bit nice, compared to normal . Marionb, i agree, green is also my fave colour, well rather neon green, but thought that might be a bit bright
Thanks sean, i'll stick downsizer on too, and a few others.
Apart from more pics, what can i add on the home page?
This site is in a very different style from what i am used to, my other site that i do for a university society has frames (3 sections) and is done to the society's specs http://users.aber.ac.uk/scty22 ... thats site will be getting an easier name soon.
What does everyone think to the wording of the prices?

Muddy
We had heaps of fun and did lots of good stuff. It wasn't a university club then, though we were nearly all students. The BTCV HO gave us a knackered transit which we customised, and we were based at Llanbadarn, in a house with a big cellar for all the tools.
I could possibly rootle out some photos so you could laugh at the ancient fashions and stuff.

Hi Pel, I was joint leader the year after Jamanda (aka back then Ma) so that must be ninety-nine years ago. Yep is sure was muddy. We had a van called sooty part of the reg was 500 TY. It had a concave roof. It was Rose Cottage in Llanbadarn where the tools were kept, there must be a blue plaque by now
What activities does the group get up to now?

pippa,
it might be useful have your email address on the contacts page as a direct email link. Saves people having to copy and paste to their email programmes.
thanks for the link.
do you want us to write something to go on the clients page? not strictly clients, but we can at least confirm that you are competent and trustworthy.

Cutting back rhodedendron, gorse, brambles, maintaining coastal footpaths, walks around Hafod estate, repairing broad walks on borth bog, burning gorse, fencing. Working with the CCW, NT, local council, forestry commision, local community groups. If you have a look on the website under tasks, it has a few more there.

OK, I am going to be negative.
It has lots of spelling and grammar mistakes.
The layout isnt great.
Drop the previous clients bit until you have some - what you are saying is we have no clients and might not be available anyway.
What about insurance? Police checks?
the 'about' needs rewriting - you dont want an included profile like that - write the whole page. What animals do you specialise in? I dont know what an hnd in agriculture means. you can estimate crop yields? farrow a sow ?
I would want to know much more practical stuff - hows your milking (cows, goats, sheep?) ? tractor driving? happy to deal with moving stock by trailer? abattoir? auctions? what vet knowledge? mechanical skills? can you weld?
drop the price list - price lists like that define the max price. You need to think carefully about this how have you arrived at those prices?
Are you a ltd company? sole trader ? partnership? tax+ ni?
How many people are available?
I dont want to see pics of fluffy animals - I want to see pics of you looking competent with your arm up a cows arse.
(but thats just my personal perversion)
But feel free to regard this post as pointless confrontational trolling.
