Thanks to all for the welcome.
A bit about me: I have a house here in Derbyshire, and regularly spend time with my girlfriend in lovely North Wales (who introduced me to this forum). I run a small business providing consultancy for software engineering & desktop publishing. I'm not awash with spare cash at the moment, but I don't wake up dreading Monday mornings either!
One of these days I might relocate to North Wales permanently and learn the language properly. Bit half-hearted in the latter respect at the moment!
