Welcome Sade |
yeah.
Sade is a friend from a knitting board/chatroom. I told her to come have a look at this place as she intends to start container veg gardening.

Hello all!
Thanks for the warm welcome.
Yesterday I was browsing the forums and didn't think about introducing myself
I'm not "Smooth Operator" Sade. I'm not related to the singer. I don't sing, at all. Unless you want rain? (Spanish saying, bad singing attracts rain)
Anyway, my nick is Sade. I knit and sew and cook and rubber stamp, and I want to start a vegetable & herb garden in containers. This garden will be in Belgium with a not so warm summer and plenty of rain, unless this summer is different, and we get some sun.
I've been reading the posts on gardening, and will post my questions as soon as I can put them to writing. I've bought a couple of books on container & organic gardening, and will read them soon. I'm also trying to decide what I want to eat fresh. So far, tomatoes, cucumbers, beans and/or peas, and some berries are on my list. I have to start the seeds soon, I guess!
Any help is welcome
