What can I make with this...It held some lovely beer from our farmers market approx 9"x6" and I have no idea what I might be able to make it into
Any bright sparks out there ??

You could use it for a container to hold an alcoholic refreshment

maybe punch a few holes and make a brazier for the garden..... or a strawberry planter tower thingy

we have a simular container and I fill it with squash or juice for the kids as then they can serve themselves and don't use to much concentrate, spill it etc etc

Like that idea, or you could sort of make a barbecue out of it, or perhaps a potato planter with the top cut out and a neat little trap door on the side.

You could pour all your red wine leftovers in it and allow it to become red wine vinegar? I saw a receptacle very similar today in a posh kitchen store called a vinegiare or something similar??(can't remember how it was spelt ,sorry) it was for that purpose and the same shape etc but made of pottery..Don't see why your small cask couldnt do the same job..providing you get leftover wine that is!
