What can you do with it?

Land, that is.

We are looking to move and some properties are advertised with "paddocks".

What are the restrictions on the use of this land? I know you cannot make it a "garden" but what limitations are there re growing veg or planting fruit trees?

Also, does it make any difference if the land is part of a National Park?

Any help appreciated.

Trufle: we have lots of hazel here, both in hedges and free standing. Is it possible to inoculate these existing plants for truffle production?
Truffle

Absolutely! We've run some very successful trials on this (see the portfolio section of the webpage- under partnerships) and will be publishing data this year.

However, to inoculate mature trees the soil needs to have ideal conditions since altering the conditions can be problematic around established trees. Therefore the soil needs a minimum pH of 7.3... but, as we proved last year, it can certainly be done!

Hmmm, interesting...

Sadly, our soil is acid.
