What should I call my blog?I want to start a blog to plot the progress on my course. The course is fine art textiles and I'm stumped as to what to call the blog.
Any ideas?

if you want something a bit classical, the latin 'ars longa, vita brevis' spings to mind, translates as something like the 'life so short, the craft so long to learn' which seems sort of appropriate for learning progression through the arts to me

But is it art?
As a name, I mean.

I like that Sally, I'd worry a bit about it sounding a bit like arse though Maybe I should call it arse longer, tighter briefs
Sean, of course it's art

I know it is. I just thought it might be a good name.

'START BLOG'
i.e. short for Stacey's Art Blog...or summat along those lines. Don't be too obscure.

If you really want people to read your blog then tell it as it is:
Fine Art Textiles by Stacey
or Fine Art Textiles - Stacey's adventures.
Then have a sub title that is more personal to you. Blogs are fun.

Yeah maybe. I'm not sure that bothers me really. It's a different type of stitching after all.

Awesome. Well done.
On the smudging/blending thing, when I worked in an art shop many moons back (Eek - it's actually more than 30 years ago!) we sold sticks made of rolled paper (a bit like lolly sticks) that were designed specifically for blending pastels.
