What to do with a lot of plums?

Not that big a fan of jams so ideas for other ways to preserve plums? I could of course just do lots of plum based puddings but I was hoping for a way to preserve some.

Fruit leathers, simmer gently, puree, lay on non stick sheet and dry gently in a dehydrator preferably althoig a low oven with the door propped open will do it.
Halved, stoned, alcohol......

Plum sauce for crispy aromatic duck and for marinades (works well with pork).

and of course you can freeze em. I like a plum and walnut crumble.

Plum vodka,chutney.
Freeze cut in half for winter puds.
