When to eat light sussexwe hatched eggs from Lorraine this year and have just one cockerel and several pullets, very lucky I know  . Just wondering when is the optimum time for turning him into lunch ?. Would six months be about right ?. We already have three other cockerels so not really feasible to keep him although I am sure my husband will think otherwise

About six months is about right - when he feels like he's got enough to make it worthwhile when you handle him, really.
