Which tellies are most efficient?Other than 'turned off ones' that is 
Not sure our CRT telly will last another couple of years unitl OLED tellies become cheap enough and big enough to be do-able.
So, which brands and technologies are likely to be most energy efficient?

Are tellies one of those things where modern flat screens are so much more efficient than a CRT that it's worth replacing a CRT even if it's not died yet?

No. But our CRT is showing signs of being close to death, and I think that good OLED tellies are two years away still.
