Blackberry vodka, eh? Can't have been me, I'd have suggested blackberry whisky, which believe it or not is even better Smile
Mary-Jane

Ummm - it might have been me. Embarassed I have made it myself - strawberry version too.
treaclepuss

Hic, hic... I've made the Christmas Pudding Vodka from the recipe on the iVillage.co.uk site. You are supposed to give the jar a twirl once a week for two months but I keep lifting the lid to sniff it and I'M twirling. If there's any left by Christmas I'm planning on putting the residue into mince pies just for the hell of it.

The blackberry one sounds good but not sure I could cope with another demon jar on the worktop. Wink

I'm a blackberry whisky girl myself, much yummy Laughing

I'm glad I've not been imbibing this evening, as I've just found this funny thing on my mouse - if I push the wheel down, this funny thing comes up on the screen and I can move the screen around without rolling the thingy, or sliding the doodah - scary stuff Shocked

Mine still isn't quite there after a year, but it is getting better. What on earth am I doing wrong then?
dpack

not just this planet Laughing
sean

Dunno, blackberries most of the way up a preserving jar, a slosh of sugar, whisky to fill jar. Wait about three weeks.
judith

'Swot I did.
It was very, very cheap whisky though.
sean

The stuff I used was from a supermarket in Spain. I reckon anything cheaper wouldn't have qualified as whisky. Maybe you've just got rubbish blackberries in Wales.

If you like. I feel that we may be straying from the mutually supportive atmosphere on which we pride ourselves here. We'll end up outside tahir's office after assembly if we're not careful.
judith
