who wants pianos?

kind of an off the wall question here, but are there any organisations / community projects etc in Lancashire looking for pianos? We get loads of calls from people who want to get rid of old pianos, but we cant find anybody who wants one. if anyone knows of a place that has a use for them and can collect from the Lancaster area, we could possibly refer people to them. any ideas?

Loads seem to change hands on freecycle ... don't know if that's any help to you?

Might be worth contacting these.

http://www.lancastercvs.org.uk/

They will have lists of organisations who might want one.

Crikey - wish you were around here, I come across quite a few people wanting a piano! I always look out for them on freecycle and then post up on other local lists to let people know.

'tis not a million miles away. It would not cost that much to fetch a truck full over.

LOL! I don't know about a truckload! Bet there's quite a few home-edders who'd be interested though, including locally to you. If you're interested I'd be happy to post on a couple of lists.

I was thinking of a small truck, not an artic-lorry.

Well I can post up if you'd like?
