Wild Chamomile

I have some wild Chamomile growing in my veggie patch which is around 12 ins tall with the typical scent, ferny leaves and white daisy flowers. It grows naturally in the pasture here. Two questions, can I use this for tea the same as commercial chamomile? The internet says you should grow German Chamomile, is the wild one any different?

Also what is the best way of drying it? In the sun or out of it? I am worried that strong sun might break down the healthy chemicals in it.

Thanks

wild is fine for tea

i tend to dry it packed very loosely in an open top paper bag shaking a few times a week .in a warm airy place it wont take long
