wild cherrysI have found what i believe to be a few wild cherry trees but i aint to sure if its a bird cherry tree can i eat the cherrys from both trees?

Wild cherries can be a bit sour to eat, but are good for making wine / jam with even so. Obviously the sweet ones are fine to eat.
Cherries don't set that well as a jam, so you may need to add some cooking apple or redcurrants to help the set.

I've always tasted the cherries and picked them if I like them.
Had a fantastic haul from some parks in Oxford this year about 6KG in the freezer (and very stained hands from stoning), all but over now though
Great for baking.
