wine making gear give away

tonnes of demijohns, barrels, airlocks and bits and bobs free to a good home.

We need to de-clutter and its been years since I had time to play.

pick up from Swindon.
Shan

I would love to but I just don't have the time to make the trip. I hope someone enjoys your very generous offer.
gardening-girl

Could really use it here.
Wonders about DS transport SW.
Nick

I'm passing Swindon April 1st. And heading to Bridgend and Pontypridd shortly after, Shan.

Happy to move stuff if it helps.
jema

Excellent Smile

the next question is just how much do you want? There is quite a frightening number of 5 gallon barrels.
sally_in_wales

if there is a spare 5 gallon fermenting barrel not spoken for, mine is about to die of old age
Nick

I'd no idea where Mountain Ash was until last week. I've now passed it four times, and will be doing so again often.
sally_in_wales

you are always welcome if you want a coffee stop en route to anywhere Smile
Nick

Thank you. I actually don't know where mountain Ash is, but there is a sign for it on the Brecon/Ponty road out of Cardiff, so it must be close. Smile
Nick

Jema, I'm likely passing on the Monday, during the day, and around five/six on the Tuesday. Happy to fill the car and disperse.

I also have plans to travel to Exeter, Cambridge, Middlesborough, Warrington, Grimsby, Liverpool, Glasgow, Newcastle and Derby very shortly, and all points in between.
Shan

Gosh, I think we might have to make a p!an. Laughing I am a bit drunk now but I am sure I can be sensible tomorrow morning.
jema

Amipest will be about 5-6 Tuesday Smile Thanks a lot as ever.
sally_in_wales

Thank you. I actually don't know where mountain Ash is, but there is a sign for it on the Brecon/Ponty road out of Cardiff, so it must be close. Smile

Yep, about four miles from Ponty, that sign on the roundabout on the A470 is about a mile and a half from us I would guess
Nick

No sweat. I'm covering the miles again, happy to help.

Gardening Girl, where are you in Somerset?
gardening-girl

I`m in Ilminster, but could do pick up from the M5 at Taunton.
Any beer brewing stuff would be brilliant defo anypressure barrels.
Thanks Nick.
jema

might have a pressure barrel, but not sure, don't tend to do beer.
Nick

I think I'm collecting at least some of this on Friday.

Feel free to have a think, and let me know where and when you are if you're after it.
Snowball

Bump
Nick

Immediate destinations include Bridgend, reading, frimely green and sittingbourne and all points between.
sean

You lucky, lucky man.
Nick

Sally? Shan? GG?

If no one says nothing snowball may as well take it to the tip.
Snowball

Shan wants some of it.
she is going to message you Nick, she is near Raglan apparently
sally_in_wales

We're away next week, hope that's not making this a right pain?
Nick

Nope. As long as I know (and I do now) that I'm not going to be stuck with it, that's grand. It can gather dust in my garage for a while.
Shan

Thanks to both Nick and Jema.
Nick

I'm in Wales next week, I shall PM you when I know what day.
Shan

Thanks Nick. Just to let you know, I am unlikely to be at home on Thursday as I am babysitting twins..... aaarrrggghhh. I'd rather put my head in a pile of chicken poo.
Nick

That's fine. Sally, good or bad days for you?
gardening-girl

Did pm you Nick.
Nick

Did pm you Nick.

Don't panic, yours is set aside. I'm just heading into the third world next week, so can schedule an aid drop for them.

Somerset is a tad further away, but on the list. Honest.
Nick

Right. Brewing barrel for Sally, pressure barrel for GG.

There's three or four other brewing barrels, 25l, a box of bits, and some Demi johns.

I'm bringing a stack to Wales. GG do you want Demi johns, too? Clear or brown.
sally_in_wales

I can find a home for a second brewing barrel if its convenient, but no worry if not. Very Happy Nick

Sally, do you want Demi johns?

And can you pm me your address and postcode, I cannot find it.
sally_in_wales

We're ok for demijohns thanks gardening-girl

We are ok for demi-johns than you. Shan

Thank you so much to Jema for the wine making gear And to Nick for delivering it! Very Happy sally_in_wales

Thank you Jema and Nick! Cool Nick

I appear to have a car full of goose eggs. Shocked Shan

Better than a car full of geese! dpack

well done folks ,the car full of goose eggs , yummy or chipping ? Shan

Judging by my incubator, more yummy than chirping. Nick

Yummy, I hope. They're in an hotel car park overnight. If my audi wakes up to be a goose house, I shall be unpleased. Smile dpack

Laughing Laughing Laughing

when i had a ready supply of goose eggs from an allotmenteer i reconed they were ace for egg n cress butties, good for omelets and less than happy for cakes
