woodland horse logging event - Cornwall

A hands-on, horse-logging event situated in Looe, Cornwall.
Learn practical skills in handling working horses and removing felled timber from a woodland setting.

Really good value for money, and again a small maximum number to ensure everyone has a good experience.

had a really good day yesterday at this event. We had a total of 6 learners on the course (who all did brilliantly). Here are some photos.

The horse is a shire called Jim (bit of a character Jim) Laughing

Everyone had such a good time, we are thinking of running a 2nd event with more advanced training.

By the end of the day Jim was a bit sweaty, but he was soo keen - couldnt really stop him scampering up the slope dragging the logs!

Very good event - good trainer in Keith Trickey, weather was bright and dryand loads of wood moved in a very short time.
