Wooodland managementForest Research is compiling a review of evidence on how landowners and managers perceive value and manage woodlands and other land resources in relation to current policy priorities (including woodland establishment and wood fuel). The review includes any data, quantitative or qualitative, that help to understand the attitudes, values, aspirations, decisions and behaviours of landowners or managers, in relation to woodland management or establishment. This will include evidence on barriers to action, decisions in relation to native woodland, decisions in relation to wood fuel, awareness of available grants, the knowledge base of landowners and managers and will cover woodlands both large and small, including trees outside woodlands. If any members of the UK Tree Care Forum are aware of any surveys or other data relating to this work, Forest Research would be pleased to hear from you.
