Neither cool nor icky, but deeply disturbing. We certainly do not need another slug! We are overrun by the Iberia snail Arion lusitanicus, a slug that does a lot of damage to gardens and farms alike. Arion rufus was reported for the first time a few days ago. This last "thing", which eat earthworms, is really bad news.
What will trout fishing be without earthworms
New motto: slugs will rule the world!
