Yarn for knitting machines?I've got some large cones of yarn, any good to anyone? £10 to send to UK mainland
They're all quite fine apart from the two hairy ones at the back

any idea of general fibre content? I'm certainly tempted if I can put most of it to use, I know I can hand the eyelash stuff off to the local craft group

Mostly acrylic or acrylic mix

Whoever takes it I'd advise freezing to kill possible moth eggs before putting it anywhere near your stash (just in case)

hmm, think I'll pass for anyone who uses more acrylic than me. Apart from a bit of very thin stuff for waste yarn on the sock machine I'm not getting time for experimenting with synthetics Anyone here so stuff with schools, this sort of thing could be a very useful resource?

I think that JB's OH teaches fabric/fibre type stuff. I may have made it up though. You could PM him

It so doesn't does it. Your nearest charity shop, preferably Oxfam due to a slight bias on my part.
