hi to all you organic gardeners just want to show you my idea to keep of the nastys and it works a treat, under the covers are sprouts cabbage colly and carrots and there is,nt a mark on them hope it helps someone and it was really easy to make

Looks good, Is it a bugger to work with ,having to move the top to go in and weed,water etc?

not long at all just a few hours or so it was made from 2 inch x 1 inch wood all in sections and the lids are seperate then just staple the fleece in place just have to make sure you go dowwn to the ground so the nastys don,t get in glad you like it

Excellent arrangement Dave. Presumably it has the added advantage of keeping the seedlings warm too.

That looks really good. We just have yards of fleece draped over all the brassicas, but I might encourage the old chap to create a box-type thhing for next season. Might have chicken wire under the fleece, so I can use it as a holiday home for the birds in the veg garden... Hmmm... the ideas are sleeting through the ether thick and fast today...
