Hello again chaps! It's been ages.
We have now moved down to Essex, where we have 8.5 acres. We are mostly going for gold in the organic veg department, but I am moving my ladies (chickens) onto the land. Dorrit my S.Favorelle is getting a bit bullied so I am going to set her up with her own coop and with a few S.F to keep her company as she is so lovely.

Does anyone know of any one in Essex or Suffolk with and S.Fav's???

Thanks xxxx

We moved from Devon with no land to essex where we now have land

We are based in Great Bentley CO7 , and it all seems pretty good thus far, could do with some rain though.

Nicki, yes we made it! If you ever could near Essex get in touch, until then ( or until we come back and visit that fair county) give Devon my love and stay in touch xxx

I figured it was for the land, that's what I want too.

Yes, that's one of the reasons I'd like to move to Devon!

I'll probably be in Colchester some time next week, any chance I could drop in and be very nosey? We could have an awesome rant about our respective complaining neighbours! Or just babble about chooks, I have silkies and Sussexes.

You would be more than welcome!

There isn't much to see as yet expect some very new rabbit fencing and a shiny new gate (and a lot of space!)

My chooks are at my at the mother in law hotel just now, but they will be back very soon and I am so looking forward to it.

Our telephone number is 01206 252147, and you are welcome any time.

The best bit is we left the neighbours from hell in Devon

There is a map of where the land is is on our website

Gosh what a lot of market gardening in the area. Must be a good location for it. Round here it's either arable or neglected. Just one 'market gardener' and a very few shaggy cattle to add anything interesting. (I have to admit the shaggy cattle are very interesting!)
I have noted your phone number and will give you a call when I am more certain when I will be up that way, thanks.
