What I find unbelievable is how difficult it is to find the new prices Where are the leaflets?? I am a Royal Mail online customer why haven't they emailed their customers to give the new prices?
Having said that it was clear that postage was going to have to go up as so much of what you order now comes by other carriers.

If you have the funds, you can buy stamps which state "second class" or "first class" rather than a price on them and still use them after 30 April. So get a small hoard together which could take you through Christmas cards and birthday cards at least.
you can also use any unused gb stamp with any value so long as its in decimal currency. yes even ones with a halfpenny in the value. Raid your childhood stamp collections from the 70's,
altho pretty, these modern stamps are worth less than face value in a collectors' market- you might as well use them as postage.
