We have 2 parrots, Jimmy ( red cheeked conure) and Rosie (crimson rosella). They live happily together in a large cage which we are happy for you to have too.
Jimmy is very tame and says the odd word , Rosie is not so tame
They are both of unknown age , but Jimmy is not young by any means.
They were both rescued by us , and we have had them for several years , but we do not have the time to give them the love and commitment they need , so subject to vetting , we would like them to go to someone who would appreciate them .

Cheers Bungo

I would love them; but the 'not enough time' thing applies here, too. I hope you find them a good home. Is there a parrot rehoming society you could try?

Just googled parrot rehoming , and wish I hadn't, it would seem there are a lot of unwanted parrots out there

Try the guys at Tropical inc. They take on and give a good home to a variety of animals from the exotic to the ordinary.

If they cannot help I am sure they can advise another route to try.

I think Bebo offers a parrot sitting service.

I, on the other hand, *do* have the time and would snatch your hand off - unfortunately I'm too far away. Doubly annoying, mr alice was in North Wales at the weekend but he's on his way home now

I would love to be able to help, but I have no chance in heck of convincing my Husband - he doesn't like birds being kept in cages.
The landlord would take some convincing too; he only allows us to have 'domestic pets' and doesn't think our rabbits are classed as that, so wouldn't let us have chickens either
I do sincerely hope you find them a new loving home xx

I'll ask my husband when he gets home. We currently have Lineolated Parakeets and have pondering more birds for a while now.

Spoken to the husband and he's fine with it if you still need a home for them. I'm happy to talk to you and offer reassurance that they would be well cared for and loved.

I'm at home all day, I don't work, so they would get plenty of TLC, time, and affection. We are going to Wonderwool next week end so could pick them up on the way home if you decide to take me up on the offer.
