We tried the first one and found it a bit disappointing Have to say We're finding Peaky Blinders is getting a bit long-winded. It could do with being 20 mins shorter and a lot sharper in mood, in my opinion. It's quite laborious in parts. Oodles of promise, fabulous set. EV

I decide to give Peaky Blinders a miss - I couldn't face another BBC period drama so soon after The Village .
