Got a letter from BG today and our monthly lecky payments are to go down from £63 to £44 per month.
In the last 6 months we have used £492 less lecky than the same time last year due mainly to not using an ancient freezer and a contribution from my 1kw solar panels.
It can be done.

It's the fixed rate that sends us loopy.

2 months bill = 12 euros for leccy used

Our bill for the 2 months is 36 euros = 12 for leccy + 24 for the service.

The sooner we find a way to get rid of the service charge the better

My provider doesn't have a fixed charge... and aren't we supposed to have free trade across Europe now?

Now i'm thinking the coming high winds will rip the solar panels off the roof (hopefully I'm just being paranoid).
