For cutting, grinding, demolition, I wear a machinery hat - a hard hat with built in ear defenders and perspex visor.
I don't get on with goggles and glasses, steaming and tangling up.
Respirator, goggles, ear defenders, maybe hat to keep dust off - it's a PITA.
Machinery hat you chuck on with one hand, flick the ears down and flip the visor down with a head nod. Quicker, easier and more protection than individual items. And it all comes off your head in one go with one hand. |
