I`m in the process of decorating the living room after installing a multifuel stove,i have pine boarding on the wall around the window, and pine paneling on the hallway wall, the chimney breast side is sorted, its just the other plain wall i`m not sure of,and us Farmer`s/Miner`s ain`t got much clue on decor design`s,so i thought why not ask here for your opinions,

Here are a few design`s i thought of,which would you choose,

Think I would go for a nice picture of a summer field with cows in it.

Still think the cow field would be better than a mine or those, brilliant as they are. I mean, you have to live with it.

You'd need a very light room to carry it off, but those images in the OP link are fantastic!

I once viewed a house that had an advert (the kind you get on billboards) for White Horse whiskey on one wall

Thanks Joe,i though they were when i first saw a photo of one,the one with the rings,on the back wall of a garage,as you say the light is the important to bring out the effect.

And No,i will not be having one, unless i can find one with a Pony pulling a full dram of Welsh coal out of a timbered level, happy days.

Glad you've got your stove in John, nice pictures but I'm sticking with a Mulberryish colour for the room
