I volunteer at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, and thought Downsizers in Wales may be interested in a new venture they are are running this year. www.growingthefuture.co.uk is running courses for new and and experienced fruit and veg growers both at the NBGW and across Wales at various locations. Many of the courses are free or very low rates, and if you go on a course at the NBGW you can get into the gardens for free.

The Growing the Future site at the NBGW was only set up last year, and already has an established forest garden, examples of keyhole beds, raised beds, strawbale beds, hugelkultur and conventional growing, so is worth going on a course just to have a look
