i just found out the trout season started on the 24th and not the 1 st . 
the horizontl rain is a bit off putting as is only an hour of light but i seriously considered it 
after the winter rains the bed will have changed a bit but the random metal will have moved lots which is costly in hooks and dangeroos for wading (too wild to wade ).
oh well , high water worming tommorrow .the river looked full yesterday and it has rained lots since then .

Lidl have the fishing gear in next week .... well they do here anyhow. 
I'm hoping to get meself down there for a rod and some accessories. Not fished before but this year is the year to start.

two fishies .
1st 231 mm at autopsy the gut contained -3 little fishes . invertibrates aquatic , inv terrestrial , aq snail . lob worm .
2nd 280 mm at autopsy the gut contained -5 lt fishes . lots inv aq,lots inv tr, 2 gram black rock ,2 aq sn ,slug .worm .
both fell to worm in the most gentle bits (by tree root and in side water ) of scarey water , the river is high and has a good volume ,the drop /dams / shape in 3d all give a wild aspect today .
i was very careful not to fall in .
the black rock was roughly double cubic in shape , why did it eat that ?
trout still eat all manner of things , mostly trout  |

it had been eating mostly terrestrial invertibrates (high water )
nice plump fish . |
