Hi

We are soon moving to SW Wales and will happily have 1.5 or so acres of land. I would like to invest in a 2-wheeled tractor to cart (via the trailer) sacks of sheep mix and layers peller, top the grass, mow the lawn etc. but, I don't know much about them other than what I read in the Smallholder mags.

Has anyone any experience? What are the most useful attachements (we'll have a big veggi plot, 4 or 5 sheep, a couple of pigs, some chooks and eventually a couple of goats. There are grass paths to cut and i's like a chipper. In fact there are loads of useful gadgets, but it all costs. Any advice on new v used, recommended manufacturers (and ones to avoid) and what you have found most useful implement-wise would be very welcome.

I have an old Lombardini. Starts easy & reasonably powerful but I haven't a clue what attatchments are available as I only use it as a rotavator/hoe. If I put it in top gear you have to jog to keep up with it so it would tow a small trailer.

Dunno, I'm still trying to decide whether to get one. I'll post some links later.
