I had to format my hd last week. Is it possible to retrive all my old emails? Thanks

Not unless you had Leave Mail on Server for x Days ticked.

Can you log in to their site and check if they've got any emails for you? After this happened to me once I make sure I back up my mail box at least weekly.

Is there a quick way to back up emails from outlook express? If I remember rightly, when I did it a while ago when my old computer needed to have windows reloaded, it was a very tedious process doing each email individually. Also, I can't reintroduce it into the in/sent boxes in the way it was before, wher I preview the mails quickly.

In OE, go to tools/options/maintenance/store folder. that'll tell you where your emails are stored. you can copy that and save it and import it after a reformat.
