Just for fun- what critter would you love to keep/herd/wrangle but know you won't for whatever reason? |

a horse for 'pony and trap' or other working duties. That would cut down the petrol bill
Alpacas always look fun and I think Tim would like ducks and goats.
All off the list due to space and time. |

I'd like working horses, I'm not a 'pony' sort of person but I'd love to learn to handle a plough team.
Yak always look rather fun too |

Me too - it's always been one of my dreams. That and sailing on a square rigger.
Old fashioned, me? |

I'd be a donkey and cart girl, and I'd like a really tame Jersey cow.
I miss Derek though - gave him a quick cuddle last night as he was roaming around, didn't seem to mind too much |

Me too, I very nearly applied to crew on the tall ships race when I was young and fit and sailing a lot, always regretted never doing it. |

A donkey, but I haven't found a good enough reason to justify it yet. |

Well how about the price of fuel It's much cheaper to keep a donkey to go to the shops with, than it is to have a car. Ask Chokuri. I fully intend to do it once we are settled |

Yak, if I had to pick one, but all of my live stock dreams are piped ones, at the moment - I'd like merino sheep, wensleydales, bluefaced leicesters, cashmere goats, alpacas (I know they are ostriches, but I want the fibre - it's such a dream to work with) and also ducks, chickens (arucanas, wyandottes, orpingtons and welsummers) and bees. Himself would like silkies.
I have no land, am forbidden poultry and bees until we have more space to keep them from himself, and am pretty skittish around cattle. Plus I don't have time breathe as it is. Pipe dreams are not likely to become reality any time soon, barring lottery wins! |

It takes me 40 minutes to get to the shops as it is! It would be an all day expedition with a donkey. And how about the baby seat?
I'd like ducks too.

baby seat.... get those saddle bags and adjust as if they were being carried by a human (baby sling/carry) then you could have one either side |
