Can I ?
Still dry and salted, not been rinsed.
Have bagged up in lengths sufficient to do 1kg of meat + crumbs etc, in the hope that I can freeze them for later use.

If so, how long would they keep in a freezer ?

We keep ours in the fridge forever. Make sure that they are still well salted and the bag/container is sealed.

I've stopped using a fridge in winter - though it's on now for the duration of pig processing.
Cold pantry sufficient, I guess, in a bag, again in a plastic box for protection

Cheers, guys, that's helpful.

You won't be able to freeze them for very long, because one day, soon, someone on here will buy half a pig and forget them, and you'll have to send them off in a hurry.

If that shouldn't happen, then yes, frozen they last for, roughly, ever.

We've seperated ours into bags of approximately what we use each time we make sausages, in the freezer.

Or even better, someone decides they fancy a bit of Rob's beef sausage & order half a tonne of mince from me this week...

Well, to be fair you did do this, BUT, you're not the only one I've sent them too, and I've had to beg them a couple of times from others. It's just the way it is.

For future reference to anyone, there are a surfeit of skins in my freezer. Rob appears to think he sold me half a whale.
