The Vegetarian Option. ISBN 978-1-84400-740-0.
It's not a vegetarian cookery book (some of the recipes use chicken stock) which appears to have irritated some of the people who reviewed it on Amazon. It is however a cracking selection of recipes for interesting things to do with vegetables and very well written. I only picked it up from my local bookshop today so I haven't used it yet but it's worth a look IMHO. You could always order it from your library if you're not sure about it. |

I belive Nigel Slater has something similar out, too. I haven't read it, but it will appear on my letter to Father Christmas. |
