It was billed as the most scary yet but I didn't find it scary at all. |

I think they get carried away into thinking the cleverness of the effects (which really were very clever) must correlate with the scariness of the episode.
I thought it was less scary that I should have found it, if that makes sense |

Disappointing. Not as frightening as autons. But nothing is as frightening as autons. |

I liked it, thoroughly good family entertainment that I watched because my eleven year old found it too frightening to be on her own in the room. Frightening enough is fine I think. |

What was so clever about the effects? All they used was a hosepipe and a CGI water cannon.
I think perhaps the scary bit was supposed to be the Doctor going over to the Dark Side... |

Come on now, the facial prosthetics to have the water pouring out of their mouths were pretty clever. |

No more so than usual.
Certainly not enough to make up for it being silly. |

I'm very excited about that! I thought the Master was great
I really liked last night's episode, much better than the last one. |

I thought that the Vashta Nerada were pretty frightening:
Vashta Nerada
