We managed to hatch out one solitary Salmon faverolle hen who is now about 18 weeks. We have tried her in with the other motley crew but they are really bullying her, so we are having to take her away from them.
Does anyone have a Faveroll hen and an unrelated cockerell we could buy to keep her company? She looks rather lonely.

There is a guy in Par (south Cornwall nr St Austell) who breeds beauties. He regularly shows them. If your interested I could try and get his number.

Any keepers in the Home Counties or East Anglia?

I quite like them, though Howard doesn't want anything with feathers on its legs.

I'm here, I'm here!

My sister has a cock and five hens, but they are not in lay at the moment. I am going to put some on to hatch as soon as they get their act together - the hens are reddening up and the chap is starting to be interested in them.

Um.

That doesn't help you with your immediate problem. Are your motley crew light or heavy breeds? They are quite dopey, in my opinion - in a nice way - and they do tend to be victimised a bit if they don't have room to get away. And they get on better with the other heavy breeds.

The motley crew are all ex-bats.
The faverolle is lovely, so tame, she follows me around, and chats all the time.
I would love some more.
