Theyare smaller than the other photo suggests. And a five pence piece is an ok weight for my ears.

Each person only needs 4-5 oz of raw meat at a meal to get their protein. (3-4oz cooked )
I weigh my roast before cooking, allow for fat, crackling and bone, and tell

Delia's recipe works for me...
Whisk egg whites until very stiff. Use Kenwood chef for this !
add 2oz caster sugar per egg white, add in about 3-4 batches and whisk well inbetween, to a shiny me ... |

As it is for a scarf/poncho, rather than a fitted garment, I wouldn't think it would make much difference.

use a circular needle for a 'heavy' knit as the weight can sit in your lap, rather than on the needles.
You just turn at the end of a row and knit back the other way. It makes sense when you do it. T ... |
