Hi guys,

I've found a couple of mushrooms which I believe to be parasols but I'd like to know your opinions before trying them.

Hi folks,

I don't know if anyone will be able to help but I recently uncovered an old edger tool from the bottom of the garden and thought I'd go about putting a new handle on it.

Mmm, that's interesting! I'll look into that. Thanks. I never knew such a think existed. I think I need to do more research.

I wonder if a cheap PV solar panel could power something? Although sola ...

@NorthernMonkeyGirl

Thanks for the suggestion but I think if I started adapting it, it might lose pressure. I'm not that handy in that regard and would probably kill it. Might be a good plan B thou ...

Yeah, I was thinking that but I have pots of peppers and young plants on high up shelves in the greenhouse in the spring and there just wouldn't be enough pressure. I'd ideally like something to shoot ...

Thanks for the replies. I think I identified it finally as oarweed. I tried turning it into crisps by baking squares of it in the oven for 10 minutes as per a BBC recipe but it wasn't to my taste. Per ...

Hi folks,

Are there any seaweed experts here? I'd like to get into seaweed eating as I live on the coast. I've just been down to the local beach and some nice fresh specimens have been dredged up b ...

Sorry I didn't get back with my report of the taste. I boiled it until soft (around 8 minutes). It had a very strong flavour akin to parsley or ground elder. The texture was a little stringy very much ...

Thanks for the replies. I was pretty sure it wasn't marsh samphire as it's not the conditions for it. However, I just remembered Tony Robinson clambering down a cliff to get some 'rock' samphire as on ...
