...one of these: https://www.walk-inwonderwall.co.uk/index.html

Pound for pound they are much better value than individual fleece/mesh covers.

Like the idea that tea making time is included in the construction calculations.

But have the manufacturers allowed for Welsh weather?

Probably not...although they are now being used out in the Falkland Islands
Don't worry Lynne - it will be *well anchored* for wild, windy, woolly west Wales

Sadly it won't protect against the mice who have scoffed all the brussels in one of my beds

According to the blurb, you can take it down and store it, then if you need to, reduce it in size next year.

I've ordered one...

I've seen the industrial equivelant used in Holland, covering hectares. They used them to keep the wind off the plants, especially in coastal regions. They drove tractors in theirs, so you should have plenty of room to hoover!

Will probably need a new hoover as well. Suspect the reason for MJ's recent absence was she was cleaning and polishing the refurbed chimney & flue

That looks rather good. Can you let me know how you get on with it, especially in winds!

I've got my eye on one of those too. Sick to death of bloomin cabbage white butterflies slaughtering everything and thought that sounded like it would be just the job.

The mesh really does work Faithmead. Tahir very kindly sent me a few lengths of his mesh to 'speriment with some time ago. This last year I cobbled them together into a sort of covers (not terribly well) for three of my raised beds and the brassicas were fab. In fact we're still cropping curly kale. I'd like to cover 5 of my beds this year because we eat a lot of brassica veg - so when I saw this net tunnel I thought *just the job*

I rather like the idea that you can take it down to store...and then make it shorter the following year if you want to.
