|
I am just starting my next batch of free range chickens.
I will raise some for you too.
They are £4.60 Kg, coming in at about 2 - 3 Kg per bird.
If you order 3 at a time the price drops to £4.50 Kg.
If you order 5 or more then it drops again to £4.40 Kg.
These are raised, under heat inside, then free range in a grassy paddock for the rest of their life. They are slaughtered at a registered chicken processing plant, and will arrive to you oven ready.
Pm me for more details.

Just thought I'd bump this up - I've just received a fantastic parcel of 12 of Alison's Chickens this morning - They look wonderful - 11 have gone in the freezer and one is in the fridge for Sunday lunch - Lovely big birds but with big legs to match - you can definitely tell these have been running around happily and not sat in their own filth in a barn all their miserable lives
Assuming Ali is doing them again - I'll be re-ordering straight away
I love this site - It is a fantastic resource |

A little public feedback on these chickens, I hope Alison won't mind.
Quality: Very good. They're tasty, plump chickens. Juicy, flavoursome, decent muscle definition to them, nothing to complain about there.
Value: For the quality, thats a good, fair price. So top marks.
Communication/Service: Good, the delivery came when it was expected, Alison kept me updated via PM here, so thats all good.
All in all, nothing bad comes of ordering chickens from Alison. You get a very good product at a fair price from a fine supplier. Reccomended. |

I was just going to feed back on how our chicken came out yesterday but to be honest Cab has beaten me -
We roasted the Chicken very simply with just salt and pepper over the skin and a Onion and a couple of cloves of garlic in the cavity
It was a really big meaty chicken - Real flavour throughout the meat and real tasty dark leg meat which I haven't seen in a long time
The 2 huge breasts fed 5 very hungry and very greedy folk - to be honest - 1 breast would have been enough - but it was so tasty everyone wanted seconds
The meat was lovely and dense - no woolly cardboard tasteless pap here - We have loads of meat left over for sandwiches today and Risotto tomorrow plus plenty of stock that came from the bird itself as it was so tender and moist
Thoroughly thoroughly recommend you try this chicken - if you haven't already placed an order get one done now - you really would be mad not too! Great value as well |

You're welcome
Actually, I was going to post again to say that I have revised my view. I was wrong to say that the price is good and fair, what I should have said is that for the quality you're offering the price is extremely good. |

From what I've seen they are raised with love too- it looks like a happy life spent at Mullacott Farm. |

Are you saying they will be ready in 4 weeks, or starting in 4 weeks? If the latter when will they be ready?
Andrea. |

Next lot ready in about 4 weeks, and every 4 weeks afterwards, for fresh chickens. (sent out by courier, or collected.)
Frozen always available, collected from the farm. |
